KORU's story
Koru is the co-founder of Kōrure Pets. She is the youngest member of the Kōrure canine family. Koru was diagnosed with arthritis at a very young age.
In desperation, we gave her Korure Marine Phospholipid Powder to improve her condition and it did just that.

Meet Koru
The Heart of Kōrure Pets
Born on April 6th, 2019, Koru is a sweet mix of Pomeranian and Spitz. Full of energy and charm, she quickly became the youngest and most cherished member of the Kōrure family.
Affectionately known as the co-founder of Kōrure Pets, Koru is more than just our pet — she’s the inspiration behind everything we do.
When Things Took a Turn
As Koru grew, we noticed something wasn’t quite right. She became less active, hesitant to jump, and didn’t seem like her usual playful self.
A visit to the vet confirmed our fears — Koru had developed arthritis and diagnosed with stage 2 patellar luxation at a very young age.
Choosing a Natural Path
Surgery and medication were suggested, but we were concerned about the risks and side effects. That’s when we turned to a more natural solution — our human brand Kōrure Marine Phospholipid Powder and Marine Phospholipid Oil.
We began giving Koru one teaspoon of powder in the morning and oil at night. To our joy, we started seeing steady improvements week after week.
A Joyful Recovery
In just two months, Koru was back to her happy, energetic self — jumping on the couch, running freely, and playing with her friends at the park- healthy, thriving and full of life.

Honouring Koru Through Action
Today, in honour of Koru and her inspiring recovery, we run the Kōrure Pets Annual Transformation Campaign- a heartfelt initiative dedicated to supporting pets facing similar mobility and joint health challenges. Each year, we partner with pet owners and communities to provide access to natural joint support solutions, share educational resources, and celebrate real-life transformation stories. Through this campaign, we aim to give more pets the chance to live healthier, happier lives — just like Koru.
